Howard M. Schapira

Current Chairman and former CEO of Action Equipment and Scaffold Co., Inc. & Waco Scaffolding and Equipment Co. Howard started in the scaffold business with Action part time in 1971 and then full time in 1977 as an outside salesman. Later he became the Phoenix branch manager of Action and following that, he became the President. In 1993 Howard became part owner of the company and purchased Waco in Colorado in 2006. Since then, Howard Schapira continues to spear head incredible local and national growth with Action.

Industry achievements:

President of Phoenix chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) in 1988 after having served on their national Board of Directors, local board and chairman of the Safety Committee. Recipient of several awards for Safety Management in 1981 & 1982 and was elected a member of the Beam Club for membership recruitment.
